G'day mate! (Aussie slang for hello)

You asked for some info on Sydney. Here it is.

By the way, you know where Australia is, don't you? It's on the other side of the globe. When it's winter in Norway, it's summer here. Christmas on the beach!

It's almost always sunny here. And very warm. Up to 40 degrees.

Sydney is our largest city. (You must've seen the Sydney Opera House on photos.) But it's not our capital. That's Canberra.

Sydney is quite safe for a big city, but there are of course places you wouldn't want to go at night.

Australia belonged to Britain for many years until 1901. They used to send their criminals here!

There's so much to do in Sydney. It all depends on what you're interested in. For example surfing.

Well, that's all for now. I'm off to play with my band, the Sydney Sick Six. We sound a bit like AC/DC.

Now you write me, okay?

All the best,
